The Piano Pit is a low-down bar in the East Coast, owned by Julius and managed by Andy. Passionate Patti worked as entertainer after she broke up with Larry.
However Julius didn't much care for small audiences; Patti's fans listened too much to her piano, and drunk too little. Then he decided to fire her, and since her contract was never valid, he didn't have to pay her. Patti threatened to file a grievance with the Musicians' Union but didn't change anything.
Right after her firing, Inspector Desmond waited for Patti outside.
